Alternative Realit as established in 2002 by Kerry Hoole as an IT consulting company  specialising in the window and door manufacturing and glass supply industries. Kerry has been a consultant globally including the USA, the UK, Australasia, Asia and Oceania

Previously Kerry had worked for 14 years for the software development company, Soft Tech where he worked in a variety of roles including founding the UK branch, project management, business analysis, software develop and product support. Soft Tech's mains products include V6 costing and production software and its predecessor ALEXSYS

Kerry was instrumental in establishing the New Zealand V6 developers user group and has done the majority of the development to calculate the New Zealand Glass standard within V6 macros.
